Our partnership with COMMON affords students the ability to do free certification testing on behalf of COMMON. Each year, COMMON donates 100 free certifications to the COMMON Education Foundation for students. Attaining certification signals expertise as well as validates skills against current practices. Certification can be a boost to one’s career, as many companies value certified professionals.
The COMMON Business Computing Associate, or CBCA, is the first level of certification. As a recent graduate or someone new to IT, CBCA certification provides a means of demonstrating your knowledge and abilities to employers. It sets you apart from other job candidates that are not certified, giving you an advantage.
The CBCA is an online exam with 92 questions that must be answered in a two-hour time limit. The CBCA is administered at many COMMON events. If you are interested in attaining COMMON certification, please email us at info@commoneducationfoundation.org.
If you’d like to prepare for the exam ahead of time, the COMMON Business Computing Associate Study Guide is an effective way to study for the exam. If you are interested in receiving a complimentary copy through the COMMON Education Foundation, please click here to fill out the form. You will receive your digital copy within the next 2-3 business days.
