As the demand for business information technology continues to grow, so does the need for a base of educated students to enter the job market. Our partnership with COMMON and IBM helps us get more educational institutions and educators involved with business computing platforms like IBM’s Power Systems. We provide scholarship opportunities for educators to get supplementary education and training on the technologies and programs that successfully run business systems.
Registration Sponsorship to a National Conference
COMMON’s national conferences are held annually in the Spring and Fall. The CEF awards sponsorships to educators who are involved in the training and education of future IT professionals.
*Please note that it is required that you volunteer a portion of your time during the conference.
If you are interested in applying to attend COMMON’s NAViGATE 2023 conference in Virginia Beach, Virginia, from October 9 – 11, 2023, the application process will open in late Summer.
Volunteer Memorial Scholarship
The Volunteer Memorial Scholarship was established in 1998 in memory of and in appreciation of our volunteers, the lifeblood of our organization. This scholarship recognizes and encourages volunteerism. One scholarship is awarded to COMMON’s annual conference in the Spring. This scholarship includes a complimentary conference registration, airfare and hotel accommodations (subject to the COMMON guidelines for travel, conference and membership policies and procedures).
